SesaME: A Framework for Personalised and Adaptive Speech Interfaces

This paper presents some motivations for using highly personalised speech interfaces. In particular, the focus is on the requirements for adaptation in mobile environments. Furthermore, SesaME, a framework for personalised and adaptive speech interfaces is described. SesaME supports a multi-domain approach and eventbased, asynchronous dialogue management. Finally, a description of how SesaME is employed within the framework of the PER demonstrator is given.
